Food Journal, June 6

Typical breakfast this morning, toast with cheese and tomato.

Lunch was also fairly typical. I had a salad with lettuce from the farm share, cherry tomatoes and lemon cucumber from the farmer’s market, and some leftover salmon from last night’s dinner. Vinaigrette on top, with Trader Joe’s red wine vinegar, which is surprisingly good.

I have had the biggest craving for a hamburger for the past few days, so we had that for dinner. I only had half of a whole wheat bun, with lettuce for the top bun. We each had half an ear of corn, and I made another veggie sauté, this time with broccoli, green beans, carrots, a few snap and snow peas from the garden, and some spring garlic. The burger was soooo good! And don’t the veggies look pretty?
